    Unconventional Advertising

This article was awe-inspiring. I found it unique and fun on how to attract attention. Especially from the younger generations who seemingly do not watch as much television as the past, and thus need a new way to entrance their site with something new. Such as Guerilla advertisement in an unconventional manner. I found the Starbucks advertisement in the beginning pretty humorous because I know I would tell the person that a cup was sitting on top of the car. Or placing things in urinals for male or making a dress-up room in the ladies bathroom.
Also due to pricing the idea of spending only 100,000 compared to 1,000,000 is a big difference in the wallet. Yet receiving better attention then that of an ordinary advertisement on the television which most likely will be ignored, is far better a choice. Though these ideas may seem grand and totally awesome. other companies might try and follow the same idea which after long enough exposure to the same ideas might kill the idea of being unconventional and different. I do want to say the one idea with dangling couches over an HBO sign makes it seem like its saying its ok to be lazy.
Another idea that I was focusing on was live interaction with the audience, or items that are interactive with the audience. Such as the toilet paper idea where there was toilet paper with prints reminding people to get checked for colorectal cancer. This reminded me of an ad i saw a while back for advertising TNT, in 2012, Belgium, “Push to add drama”. It invited random people walking across the small street to hit a simple button. Which brought a large surprise. It was a very humorous advertisement.
